Over the summer (August 2025), we launched a recruitment campaign to welcome new trustees to our board, as we said farewell to Luke Deal and Joe Royster.
We sought individuals with specific expertise: a neurodiversity specialist, a qualified treasurer, and a solicitor. We're delighted to announce that we successfully recruited four new trustees to strengthen our board.
Debi Daisley

Debi is an SEN Teacher and educational researcher who is experienced in assessing dyslexia and training an array of professionals across a range of neurodiversity. Diagnosed with ADHD after the birth of her first child, Debi understands the challenges of having an ADHD neurotype in the workplace and is committed to empowering neurodivergent people to embrace their strengths in order to succeed in their chosen careers. Debi is also dedicated to ensuring that neurodivergence is not disabling for children in schools or adults in the workplace.
Kieran studied Law at university before qualifying as a Certified Chartered Accountant. During the process of supporting his children through their own diagnostic journeys, Kieran recognised many of the traits in himself. In his thirties, he was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD. Upon reflection, Kieran identified that his lack of diagnosis at an earlier stage had been a significant factor in the premature conclusion of his legal career. He is now committed to drawing on his professional background and lived experiences to foster an inclusive, supportive and safer environment for neurodivergent professionals within the legal sector.

Polly brings her experience in legal advocacy to her role as Trustee of Neurodiversity in Law. She is committed to ensuring neurodivergent voices are heard within the legal profession and beyond.
Max is a partner and joint Head of the Family & Childcare Department at GT Stewart Solicitors. He specialises in complex child protection cases involving non-accidental injuries and fabricated or induced illness (FII). As a neurodivergent solicitor, Max is passionate about advocating for underserved communities, in particular neurodivergent individuals as well as ensuring the legal process is accessible and compassionate. He joined Neurodiversity in Law as a Trustee to champion the potential of neurodivergent professionals, and to support firms and chambers in fostering inclusive environments.
